Ho also Is survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Beth Anderson of Scoftsdele, and a special friend for many years, Lila Douglas of Winona. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Fawcett Funeral Home, the Rev. Wade E. Davick officiating.

RoHand 'Lars' Beirne TREMPEALEAU, Wis. Holland "Lars" Beirne, 67, of Trempealeau died Saturday (Oct. 21, 1995) at his home. He was born Sept. 25, 1928, to Gerald and Ethel (Craig) Beirne In Ettrick, Wis.

He graduated from high school in Galesville, Wis. He entered the Army and served during the Korean War, getting discharged in 1952. On Aug. 14, 1956, he married Sylvia Jostad in Decorah, Iowa. He was employed by Mid-West Industrial Fuels as a truck driver until his retirement in 1990.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Galesville; GalesvilleEttrick VFW and Run-nestrand-Pederson American Le gion Post 354, Ettrick. Survivors are his wife of Galesville; a son, Richard (Chris) of Winona; two daughters, Ronda (Kelly) Hanson and Roxle (Mike) Happel, both of Galesville; two grandchildren, Amanda and Jared Happel; a sister, Charlotte Bishop of Ettrick; and a brother, William (Sadie) Beirne of Lewis-ton, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Galesville; the Rev. Robert Wagner will officiate. Burial will be in St.

Accidents WINONASaturday Masaki Mochizuki, 22, 101 E. Broadway, and Trisha Ann Fenske, 20, 1509 Service Drive, were in a two-car accident reported at 10:23 p.m. at the corner of Huff Street and Broadway. Mochizuki was southbound on Huff and attempting to turn left onto Broadway when he struck Fenske, who was northbound on Huff.
